HAMPSHIRE CULTURAL TRUST
Opening up young people to new experiences and educational opportunities is key to their growth and Hampshire Cultural Trust asked us to create a film to show just why that is. The film needed to capture the key events in the Reaching Out! Programme and to demonstrate the impact the project was having on those involved. It also needed to be engaging, informative and to resonate with funders to make sure that this programme can positively impact more young people in the future.
WHAT WE DID
For this film we knew that capturing human moments in an ever-changing environment was going to be crucial. We assembled a team of camera and drone operators in order to carry out the filming that was required. Alongside cutaway footage we captured interviews with Hampshire Cultural Trust staff, teachers and young people which we crafted into a narrative, forming the backbone of the film.
ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The Reaching Out! project is a partnership in the North Hampshire area working with schools that have high deprivation pupil premium. The project is designed to link schools and museums and aid young people’s curriculum based learning, whilst also promoting engagement with museums. Over a 6 month period we documented key moments in the project and spoke with young people, facilitator and organisers to craft a video that highlights the considerable impact that the project has.
During our 3 years working with Hampshire Cultural Trust we've created a variety of videos to support their social impact projects, to promote the Trust's work as a whole and to case study the wonderful people who work there. Here are just a selection of those:
